Snowmobile Safari

We invite you to join us in a fun varied terrain snowmobile safari there where locals drive. You will get to explore a nature area outside of Tromsø with great views of the arctic snow-covered mountains.

Upon arrival at Basecamp, we dress in warm winter gear and begin the adventure with safety instructions and a practical demonstration. It is then time to follow our 20* km snowmobiling track that leads you to the snow-covered mountains. We will stop during the trip to take photos and play in the snow. You will drive in pairs with one driver and one passenger per snowmobile and plenty of opportunities to switch places during the two-hour snowmobiling adventure.

After driving back down the trail and parking the snowmobiles, we will serve you a hot meal. After relaxing and warming up, it is time to head back to Tromso or stay overnight in our Aurora huts.

Duration: 7.5 hours total (including 85 minute transfer each way), you will spend 1.5 to 2 hours on the snowmobile.

Children: 12 - 15 years of age, minimum 140 cm can participate, but in order to drive a snowmobile you need a valid drivers license

Meeting time and place: 09:00 at Magic Ice Bar

You will arrive to "Welcome Inn Hotel Lyngskroa" in Oteren at 10:25

Return to Tromsø: Departure from Oteren at 15:00 and return to Tromsø ca 16:30

If you choose the no transfer option:

Meeting time and place: Oteren at 10:20, at "Welcome Hotel Inn Lyngskroa"
